My full name is Stephen Leonard Gartman. I was born on Feb. 7 in St. Helens, Oregon. I grew up in St. Helens. Graduated from St. Helens High School. Attended Portland Community College where I studied computers in general and graduated in three years with five years of education on paper (2 AAS's and 1 one year certificate). I then attened Warner Pacific College where I graduated with a BS in religion with an emphasis on Youth Ministry.

I am currently working at Delta AV Systems, Inc. I work mainly in the programming department (sound systems are now so complicated that they can have computers to control them and those computers need programming!) and also in the service department (if its broke I come fix it).  The work is challenging, the technology is awesome, and the people (customers and co-workers) are wonderful.

I am an ordained minister with the Church of God (Anderson, IN). In the past, I worked as a Youth Pastor at Chapman Community Church out from Scappoose, and I was an Associate Pastor at First Church of God in The Dalles . I am currently not serving on staff at any church, although I am attending Rainier Community Church of God in Rainier. I am helping out here and there. My biggest functions at the church are working with the Junior High youth and working on the video and sound systems.

I have a also had a successful computer consulting business for some time, but I haven't done much with it since I started working fulltime at Delta. I enjoy being at home with my wonderful wife Corina and my four wonderful children Joy, Jonathan, Jean, and Joshua.  A family picture take September 05 is here.  I also enjoy surfing the net and just "playing" (as Corina calls it) on my computer(s). For recreation I enjoy playing volleyball, although I haven't been able to find the time to play lately.
